Meet the Team
Dr. Warmuth is from Grand Rapids, Michigan and is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Providence College. She received her B.A. (2008) in psychology from the University of Michigan and her M.A. (2013) and Ph.D. (2015) from the University of Notre Dame. As a developmental psychologist, she is interested in how family interactions contribute to children’s social and emotional development. In her spare time, Dr. Warmuth enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and their dog and cat, going out to eat, and adventuring around Rhode Island.

Abby Fielding ’20
Abby is currently a junior at Providence College and is from Portsmouth, RI. She is a psychology and biology double major. In addition to pursuing career goals in each major, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, her dogs, as well as going to the beach. She is beyond excited to be member of the Family & Development Lab team!
Amanda Piechota ’19
Amanda is a senior from Milford, CT majoring in psychology and minoring in theater. After graduation she hopes to pursue fields of neuropsychology or positive psychology. She has taken a huge interest in child development and is really looking forward to learning about her interests during this hands on experience! Amanda also loves ballet and the Friars!
Amy Geller ’19
Amy is a senior at Providence College and is from Westchester, NY. She is a psychology major and political science minor. In addition to pursuing her goals in psychology, she loves spending time with family and friends, reading, and playing tennis. She is very excited to be a member of the Family & Development Lab team!
Christina Sloan ’20
Chrissie is a junior at Providence College majoring in both psychology and Spanish. She has always loved working with children as a camp counselor and babysitter, and is extremely excited to be a part of the Family & Development Lab! Aside from her love of learning, Chrissie also loves inspirational quotes, spending time with family and friends, and listening to all kinds of music. She looks forward to meeting you!
Hannah Abrantes ’19
Hannah is a senior from Fairhaven, MA majoring in psychology. She is excited to be a member of FamDev team, and to learn more about child development! Some of her favorite things include running, coffee ice cream, puppies, and spending time with family and friends. Hannah hopes to further her education in developmental psychology after PC and enter the medical field.
Kristen Parmiter ’20
Kristen is a junior at Providence College and is from Long Island, New York. She is a psychology major and a Business Studies minor. Kristen would like work children in the future and is excited to part of the FamDev lab. In her spare time she loves going to the beach and spending time with friends and family.
Liz Perrone ’20
Liz is a junior at Providence College and is from Long Island, NY. She is majoring in psychology and is excited to learn more about child development while being a part of the FamDev team! She likes swimming, running, baking, and spending time with her family and friends. After PC, Liz would like to attend graduate school and become a pediatric occupational therapist.
Maggie Kleiman ’19
Maggie is a senior psychology major at Providence College. She is from Milton, Massachusetts. Maggie loves being a psychology major, and hopes to work with children in the future. In her free time, she loves traveling, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends.
Zoe Pavoncello-Kelley ’19
Zoe is from Cranston, RI. She is studying psychology as a senior at Providence College. Her favorite activities are hanging out with her friends, going on adventures, and watching Finding Dory. Zoe spent the past 6 years working with children of all ages at summer camps, indoor parks, and the hospital. She is very interested in studying child development and hopes to further her education and enter the medical field working in pediatrics and working as a developmental psychologist.
