Meet the Team

Principal Investigator

Dr. Warmuth

Dr. Warmuth is from Grand Rapids, Michigan and is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Providence College.  She received her B.A. (2008) in psychology from the University of Michigan and her M.A. (2013) and Ph.D. (2015) from the University of Notre Dame.  As a developmental psychologist, she is interested in how family interactions contribute to children’s social and emotional development.  In her spare time, Dr. Warmuth enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and their dog and cat, going out to eat, and adventuring around Rhode Island.

Abby Fielding ’20

Abby is currently a senior at Providence College and is from Portsmouth, RI.  She is a psychology and biology double major.  In addition to pursuing career goals in each major, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, her dogs, as well as going to the beach.  She is beyond excited to be member of the Family & Development Lab team!

Angel DeCapua ’20

Angel is currently a senior at Providence College and is from Ocean, NJ. She is a psychology and mathematics double major and is so excited to be a part of the FamDev team. After graduating from PC, she would like to attend a doctorate program in school psychology. In her free time, she loves going to the beach, hiking, exploring the city of Providence, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Brooke Vitulli ’22

Brooke is currently a sophomore at Providence College and is from Long Island, New York. She is a psychology major with plans to pursue a psychology career where she can work with children. She is extremely excited to be able to work with children in the FamDev lab! Beyond her studies, Brooke enjoys spending time with friends and family, shopping, and traveling.

Elise Rogers ’20

Elise is a senior at Providence College and is from Hamilton, Massachusetts. She is majoring in psychology while working part-time as a preschool teacher assistant. She has a passion for working with children and is very excited to join the FamDev team! In the future, she hopes to attend graduate school and become a child psychologist.

Elizabeth Spahn ’22

Elizabeth Spahn is a sophomore at Providence College from Ridgefield, Connecticut.  She is majoring in Psychology and planning to go to graduate school to focus on Child Development Psychology and Clinical Psychology.  She loves basketball, spending time with family and friends, and attending Providence sports games.  She is beyond excited to work with the children in the FamDev lab!

Hannah McReavy ’22

Hannah McReavy is a sophomore at Providence College from Boulder, Colorado.  She is majoring in Psychology with a focus in Neuroscience as well as a member of the woman’s Cross Country and Track team.  She plans to go to graduate school to study Psychology and Neuroscience, and eventually hopes to become a clinical psychologist while working to attain her PhD and teach at a University.  She enjoys the outdoors and all sports or physical exercise.  She is excited to work in the FamDev lab as she wants to one day research the difference in child development between children raised in a third world country in contrast to those raised in a first world such as America.

Liz Perrone ’20

Liz is a senior at Providence College and is from Long Island, NY.  She is majoring in psychology and is excited to learn more about child development while being a part of the FamDev team!  She likes swimming, running, baking, and spending time with her family and friends.  After PC, Liz would like to attend graduate school and become a pediatric occupational therapist.

Patrick Fuller ’21

Patrick is a junior at Providence College and is from Rehoboth, Massachusetts. He is majoring in psychology while working as a Research Technician for Student Development and Compliance at Providence College. He hopes to learn more about research methodology in the adolescent population and is excited to work with children in the FamDev lab! In the future, he hopes to attend graduate school to become a clinical psychologist.

Samantha Leavey ’22

Samantha is a sophomore at Providence College and is from Long Island, New York. She is a psychology major. Sam is excited to be part of the FamDev lab and after PC, she hopes to attend graduate school to become a school psychologist. Sam enjoys playing volleyball, going to PC basketball games, and spending time with friends.
