Meet the Team

Principal Investigator

Dr. Warmuth

Dr. Warmuth is from Grand Rapids, Michigan and is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Providence College. She received her B.A. (2008) in psychology from the University of Michigan and her M.A. (2013) and Ph.D. (2015) from the University of Notre Dame. As a developmental psychopathologist, she is interested in how family interactions contribute to children’s social and emotional development. In her spare time, Dr. Warmuth enjoys spending time with her family, reading, going out to eat, and adventuring around Rhode Island.

Casey Conway ’28

Casey is a junior at Providence College from Wallingford, Pennsylvania. She is double majoring in Psychology and Spanish and later hopes to pursue a career in Speech and Language Pathology. Outside of classwork, Casey enjoys spending time with friends, reading a good book, and trying new restaurants downtown! She is eager and excited to be a part of the FamDev team. 

Gabi Quimby ’28

Gabrielle is currently a junior at Providence college and is from Warwick, Rhode Island. She is a Psychology major with a minor in Women and Gender Studies. She is thinking about pursuing a career in developmental research, so she is excited to be a part of the FamDev lab and to learn more about this career path. Outside of classes, she enjoys her job at the children’s museum, reading, and spending time with friends.

Directions to FamDev

​​​​Our lab is located in the Science Complex on the Providence College campus. Our building is close to the PC main gate on the corner of River Avenue and Eaton Street. We will meet you in the parking lot after you check in with security at the gate​ (they can help direct you where to go). We will do our best to reserve you a parking spot right in front of our building and we’ll meet you in the parking lot and walk your family into the building.
