Research Interests

My research interests focus on the development and trajectory of non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI) among adolescents and young adults. I am particularly interested in how our social environments might play a role in the spread of NSSI among youth, and how this behavior may come to serve as a coping strategy for individuals who are struggling with emotion regulation, problem-solving, and/or social relationships.

Clinical Interests

Clinically, my interests are focused on conducting developmental and psycho-educational assessments with students; ranging from the preschool to college years. As a school psychologist, I am committed to helping individuals identify their areas of strengths and need in order to implement the most effective interventions possible.
