Research in Neuropsychology (PSY 405) Student Lab Projects

The Department of Psychology offers several laboratory or research courses, including Research in Neuropsychology (PSY 405). This course fulfills the “Applying Research Methods to the Study of Behavior” domain, from which all students must take at least one course. Please see the department’s main website for more information about requirements for the major. This course it typically offered in the Spring semester.

Course Description: This course examines the major research and experimental methods in human neuropsychology.  The techniques of investigating brain-behavior relationships among normal and neuropathological populations will be explored.  Procedures for assessing cognitive and psychosocial functioning in normal and clinical groups will also reviewed.  A research project is required of all students.

Prerequisites:

Research Design and Statistical Analysis II (PSY 202)

Human Neuropsychology (PSY 315)
